FAQs
Your Questions Answered: Insights for Behavior Analytic Services
What ages do you work with at Aligning Hope?
We provide traditional ABA therapy to those up to the age of 21 (this is insurance-specific). Under DDS Waivers, we are able to provide services past the age of 21 if the participate meets DDS requirements.
How do I know if my learner needs ABA?
Applied behavior analysis promotes both skill acquisition and behavior reduction. If your learner has skill deficits or behavior excesses compared to same-age peers, ABA may be beneficial.
What can I expect from the initial consultation?
The initial consultation consists of a informal conversation with a clinician to learn more about your learner and what you'd like to get from services.
Are your services covered by insurance?
ABA therapy is covered by most insurances; please check with your insurance provider to verify this coverage.
How long does each therapy session last?
The length of therapy sessions varies based on your learner's needs, your schedule, and staff availability; however, it can be as little as two hours a day or as many as eight hours a day.
What qualifications do your staff have?
Our clinicians are Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) licensed in the state of Oklahoma. Our therapists are Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
